Minority Business Enterprise Liaison @Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (LFUCG)

As Minority Program Coordinator (known as the \"Minority Business Enterprise Liaison\") implement full participation of minority, women, disadvantaged and veteran business enterprises in the procurement process. Leads LFUCG 20••••21 Disparity and Availability Study. Communicates with all potential submitters the LFUCG’s 10% MWBE and 3% veteran participation goals on construction, professional services and good/services contracts. Evaluates and participates in all LFUCG project bids and Request for Proposals (RFPs) to determine opportunities for diverse businesses. Connects potential diverse businesses with potential prime contractors and consultant firms. Monitor and track contract and purchase order spend and tier 2 spend percentages with diverse businesses in the Diverse Business Management System powered by B2GNOW. Develops and implements outreach programs to foster relationships with diverse businesses and other entities. Coordinates and conducts training webinars and events for diverse businesses.
