In collaboration with the Health Director, I help shape the department\'s overarching strategic vision and serve as the Public Information Officer, ensuring effective communication with the public during times of crisis. My responsibilities include overseeing the development of departmental budgets, managing a substantial budget, monitoring and improving staff performance and department culture, and acting as a liaison between various stakeholders, including county departments, local health departments, and state agencies.I am an effective communicator, adept at engaging with government officials, community partners, stakeholders, and colleagues to drive initiatives that positively impact public health outcomes.
