My expertise lies in HR Transformation, Talent Strategy Design and managing large teams in multinational settings. I currently serve as the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition for the Americas and Asia Pacific, for GXO Logistics, a Fortune 500 company with employees and 10 billion dollars in annual revenue. I bring 20 plus years of recruiting experience, having worked in 2 different continents. I\'ve been associated with various companies that experienced unprecedented growth during my stint there. Witnessing this growth, I took the opportunity to hone my craft in all facets of people, systems and processes, connected to acquiring talent. This helped me to acquire deep and broad knowledge and expertise in all facets of TA. As a Recruiter, I have placed early career professionals to C-suite executives in Engineering, IT, Finance, HR, Operations, and several other disciplines. My expertise spans across 10+ industry verticals. As a Recruiting Leader, I have crafted multi-pronged and integrated recruiting strategies using a variety of hiring channels over the years. I have managed teams of up to 75, located in over 10 countries and 4 continents. I have a keen interest and closely follow the macro and micro trends in technology, economy and society at large, and its consequent effects on human behavior. This helps me to shape and craft how I lead and manage teams and design recruiting methodology and strategies. I bring a unique way of crafting a message that resonates and appeals to people, no matter what the underlying objective of the message is. I am known to step in and help Recruiters close the deal in difficult negotiations, especially for Executive and C-suite hires. I have also mastered the art of diffusing escalating tensions in hostile business settings. On a personal note, I have traveled extensively across 5 continents and I am an avid public speaker (my personal favorite is a motivational speech that I delivered to a crowd of young people in Nicaragua!). I am also a recreational powerlifter who belongs to the 0.01% club of physical strength standards globally, which may partly explain the high octane energy, positivity and enthusiasm that I bring to work and infuse into my team every day.
