I am a senior employment attorney with experience as in-house counsel at a “Big Four” accounting firm, as an associate at one of New York’s preeminent labor and employment law firms, and in a dual attorney/HR role at a Fintech blockchain start-up. I am currently in an employment and privacy law/compliance role where I continue to partner closely with HR professionals and key business stakeholders to proactively identify and resolve workplace issues before they result in litigation and to achieve business objectives, with appropriate risk assessment and mitigation, regarding all aspects of employment law including:• performance management; • terminations; • workforce reorganizations and reductions; • FMLA/ADA compliance (including leaves of absence and disability accommodations); • investigations of employee misconduct and policy violations;• independent contractor arrangements; • negotiation of separation agreements with litigious employees; • mediation of threatened and filed claims; • post-employment restrictive covenants (e.g, non-compete issues); • workplace violence; • discrimination, harassment and retaliation; • development and presentation of employment law-related training; and• drafting and implementation of personnel-related policies and processes. I also have extensive experience representing clients across the United States in multiple industries, including financial services, fashion, media, retail, insurance, pharmaceutical and healthcare. Litigation experience includes handling all aspects of discovery and trial preparation in a variety of areas including retaliation and age, race, sex and disability discrimination/harassment, and representing employers in federal and state administrative agency investigations.
