Sherif is one of Deloitte’s global specialists in areas related to financial instruments, derivatives and hedging activities, structured finance, securitization and consolidations and has extensive experience advising the largest global financial services companies on these topics. He also has deep experiences with mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and initial public offerings (IPOs) where he has participated or led several of the largest global IPOs and M&A transactions. Sherif previously served as a member of the Global Banking Leadership Team and the GFSI Banking co-leader for Americas region. Sherif also served as a member of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (DTTL) Global Advisory Council; in this role he acted as an advisory and sounding board to the Global CEO and the Executive and develops opinions and recommendations on key issues of importance to the global organization.
