I teach 5th grader how to create pattern pieces for all kind of garments. Students also learn how to operate a sewing machine as well as learn how to sew; construct there garment. During the semester students are introduced to the serger and how to operate it. In class students are required to research one Fashion Designer, then present it to the class. At the end of the Fashion design class students have completed dresses, pajamas, pants, tutu\'s, and varieties of pillows.
