Having run a sales agency (New Channel Developments) for many years, I’ve taken a turn to focus exclusively on work for our best and longest client Batela, as it has huge potential in the UK.Batela is a retail wholesaler that supplies hundreds of independent retailers across Europe, and with our work in the UK, now supplies hundreds of outlets in the UK too.The Batela brand is nautically focussed, creating a large range of sea style clothing for all the family, and a huge range of home décor and giftware.Clothing includes coats, tops, jumpers, scarves, bags and other accessories for ladies, men, children and babies.Home décor includes tableware, cushions, crockery, boats, flags, lighting and much more.Its my ongoing journey in life, and very satisfying!I’m a Founder Member of the Institute of Digital & Direct Marketing, a previous Marketing Director of Kays catalogue for 6 years, with a huge and varied budget, and I’ve been MD of a food packing company supplying high street retailers. These are all background lessons never forgotten… and frequently used to benefit my daily work.When not working, I enjoy my elderly classic Morgan, and flying a glider.
