About Sherica Campbell

I’ve spent over a decade working to make food systems more sustainable, equitable, and resilient, from rural farming communities in the Caribbean to high-level policy discussions in the Brussels, Belgium. My career has taken me from launching INMED Partnerships for Children\'s first aquaponics social enterprise to exploring AI-based monitoring frameworks in food and food systems for global food initiatives at the Rockefeller Foundation. Along the way, I’ve partnered with farmers, governments, NGOs, and private sector leaders to expand market access, improve livelihoods, and turn big-picture strategies into measurable results. At the heart of it all is my commitment to ensuring that smallholder and marginalized farmers have the tools, opportunities, and voice they need to thrive. Now completing my MA in Food Studies at New York University, I’m focused on connecting my hands-on agricultural experience with global food governance and emerging technologies. I’m passionate about bridging strategy and implementation, finding innovative ways to measure impact, and building food economies that benefit both producers and consumers. Whether it’s policy design, value chain development, or using AI to improve agricultural outcomes, my goal remains the same which is to help create a food system that feeds people, sustains the planet, and empowers the communities who grow our food. Specialties: Food systems strategy | Regenerative agriculture | Policy development | Program design & evaluation | Grant development | Value chain optimization | Stakeholder engagement | AI in agriculture | Project management | Agro-processing
