As an experienced electronic sales representative, I believe establishing strong relationships is extremely important. Maintaining relationships at all levels, including purchasing, engineering, management, and key decision makers is critical. My internal support team are vital to the success of my business. The value each person brings to the table is what makes the magic happen. Relationships with reps and suppliers are crucial. Following up on leads, technical trainings, and joint customer visits are a big part of my day to day activity. Problem solving is another key element in growing my business. Making life a little easier for my customers is something I enjoy. It allows me to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions. This often paves the way to building strategic partnerships that are mutually beneficial. Demand creation has also played a huge role in my professional journey. I thrive on being part of the process. Concept to design, and proto to production. Having a mixture of OEMs and CMs keeps life interesting.Experience, knowledge, relationship building, problem solving, and being passionate about what I do, has made for a successful career.There was a time when I stepped away from distribution to raise my boys. I decided on real estate, so I could be at home more often. I found this gave me the opportunity to sell homes to my electronics customers.
