I believe that a thriving culture can be built in every organization, even those that are currently toxic, so long as the leadership team has the desire to invest the time and effort. I believe that trust must exist before a healthy culture can bloom. I believe it takes courage to build a healthy culture and that not every leader is up to the task. Those that are will easily attract and retain top talent and outperform their competition every single time. My beliefs in these things are based on first-hand experience. I have had the privilege of working with and developing teams who have transitioned from toxic to healthy, from back-stabbing to trustworthy, from disenchanted to engaged. My passion for the HR profession is stronger than ever and I am excited to see where we, as a collective, are headed next!
