Supervise executive administrative staff and streamline processes, including but not limited to professional development requests, promotion, tenure processes, and faculty success hub. Coordinate faculty success meetings virtually and in person to promote consistency for tenure and career-track faculty.Cultivate new relationships amongst the faculty to promote the mentoring program to become cross-functional.Train new hires and temporary staff on daily administrative tasks encompassing department responsibilities.Compile quarterly, semesterly, and yearly reports to evaluate project plans to ensure we adhere to project guidelines and support faculty.Assist with new hire orientations by adding virtual components to all meetings to increase accessibility. Experience working with external departments to schedule room reservations on and off campus.Publish bi-weekly communications to all staff within the university. Develop relations with the Department of Education to accommodate incoming international students and ensure grant guidelines are being followed. Coordinate and schedule programming for the international fellows for in-person and virtual sessions. Coordinate project management activities and resources with the program manager to create innovative events. Partner with internal and external partners to facilitate speaking engagements on and off campus. Negotiate pricing for lodging and transportation needs to adhere to budget guidelines and restrictions.Manage student workers to ensure coverage to support the needs of the programs.
