ABOUT SHERI BENNINGTON

Sheri Bennington is a senior contracts and compliance executive with more than 30 years of experience leading enterprise contracting functions across government and commercial environments. She currently serves as Director of Contracts for ACT1 Federal, an ESOP government services firm, where she owns enterprise contracting strategy, regulatory compliance, OCI mitigation, subcontracting governance, and executive risk advisory.Sheri brings a rare combination of private-sector leadership and senior acquisition command experience from the U.S. Air Force, where she served as a Contracting Commander and held an Unlimited Contracting Warrant. In that role, she exercised independent authority over complex, high-dollar acquisitions and advised senior military and civilian leaders on acquisition strategy, source selection, and contract risk in global and contingency environments.Across her career, Sheri has been trusted with the most consequential contracting decisions — those involving regulatory exposure, ethics, audit scrutiny, and mission-critical execution. She is known for translating complex FAR/DFARS requirements into practical business strategies that protect the enterprise while enabling growth.Sheri holds advanced degrees in organizational leadership and procurement management and completed executive education in Business Law at Cornell University, reinforcing her expertise at the intersection of law, risk, and business strategy.
