Judicial Law Clerk @Maryland Judiciary

As a Judicial Law Clerk, I am charged with serving as a liaison between the judge, attorneys, and court personnel. I partner with court personnel to assist with case management and ensure proper procedures are followed, while assisting the judge with courtroom proceedings such as: drafting jury instructions, voir dire, orders and opinions of the court. I also conduct legal research and communicate with attorneys regarding case management.This clerkship has been helpful and educational, in that I learned how to be a more efficient and effective legal writer and how to evaluate a case and witness credibility from a judges perspective. I also learned various trial strategies and techniques.
