About Sheperdigian

Call me “Shep.” I’m an urban entomologist serving as Vice President of Technical Services for Rose Pest Solutions of Troy, Michigan where I provide technical support for all areas of the company. By staying connected to, researchers, manufacturers, regulatory agencies and other urban entomologists, I’m able to quickly support all aspects of urban pest management. I graduated in 1982 from Michigan State University with a Bachelors in Entomology and, since April of 1983, I have been working in urban pest management. I have held a variety of positions including service, sales, management, and technical support. Among my many current duties are the oversight and support of the Rose Canine Division. I have served on working groups and committees at all levels to develop training programs and technical position papers. From 1987 until its dissolution in 2020, I was a member of the Copesan Technical Committee where I served two years as its chairman. I am now a member of the Urban Pest Management Technical Committee (UPMTC), which is a group consisting of technical staff from companies across North America. I’m a columnist for Pest Management Professional Magazine and contribute expert opinion for articles in many trade journals and newspapers across the country. I’m a regular invited speaker to many conferences, and training courses around the nation. He is a Board Certified Entomologist (BCE), and a PCT Crown Leadership Award recipient
