ABOUT YI SHEN
Shen Yi, a Chinese director based in Paris, has a diverse background in fine arts and filmmaking. After studying at the Fine Arts School Affiliated to China Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Beijing Film Academy, he earned a Master\'s in Character Animation and Animated Filmmaking from Gobelins in 2018. His graduation film \"Best Friend\" won Best Student Film at the 46th Annie Awards. He art-directed the BAFTA-winning BBC 2018 Winter Olympics campaign \"The Fearless Are Here\" at Nexus Studio. Currently, Shen Yi is a creative director, art director, and storyboard artist, collaborating with studios such as Sun Creature, The Line, Titmouse, Psyop, Passion Pictures, and Nexus. Since 2017, he has also been teaching at Gobelins Summer School and serves as a jury member for the Gobelins master entrance exam.
