About Shennan Oday
Music industry professional with a diverse background in support, client services, marketing, live events, and more. Over the past three years at SoundExchange, I’ve deepened my understanding of the industry, particularly the critical relationship between royalty distributors and artists/rights owners. My passion for the music industry has led me to DC’s chapter of “Women in Music,” where I’ve had the opportunity to represent the organization at the 2024 All Things Go Festival. I have extensive experience in live events, having supported large-scale concerts and events with The Dufour Collaborative, Red Light Management, and IMP Venues. My event experience also includes working as a VIP Assistant/merch seller for artists such as Taylor Swift, AJR, The Decemberists, Grupo Frontera, and more. Additionally, my time at UIA Talent Agency allowed me to create a range of marketing materials and campaigns while reviewing client submissions and recommending emerging talent.
