About Shen Ge

Creative and entrepreneurial, I\'m proficient and passionate in spacecraft navigation, mission design, physics simulations, data analysis, and lunar imagery as well as project management, technical writing and education. I presently work on the flight dynamics team for lunar exploration on the Intuitive Machines lunar projects. I worked TRAJ console shift for the Intuitive Machines first lunar mission which successfully landed on the moon in February 2024. I also worked on the second lunar mission that landed in early May 2025 in the capacity of orbit determination.In August 2018, I attained the 35 Under 35 award presented by the International Institute of Space Commerce (IISC). In the past, I was also extremely active in the local AIAA Houston chapter and have attained volunteering and journalism awards there.I also presently run a weekly space radio show, previously hosted on Action One Media but now on my own platform. In my free time, I enjoy reading science fiction and web novels, playing video games, coding and writing. 1. Flight Dynamics Engineer

   2024 - Present- Presently working on maneuver execution modeling, flight dynamics operational script development, orbit determination (OD) analysis/code development and overall operational training for third Intuitive Machines (IM) lunar mission (IM3) and other IM lunar missions- In Feb / Mar 2025, successfully helped navigate our lunar spacecraft to the moon as part of the OD team in mission control for the second IM lunar mission (IM-2)- Wrote flight dynamics ICD scripts supporting mission operations and pre-mission analysis between maneuver planning, mission design and OD teams.20••••24- Operated the spacecraft as part of White Shift Trajectory (TRAJ) console managing ephemerides of the spacecraft, uploading spacecraft state updates to the flight computer, performing maneuver updates, generating ground station tracking files, etc. which ultimately helped in successfully landing the Nova C lander on the moon- Perform OD analysis before the mission and post IM-1 mission for trajectory reconstruction- Develop further code and perform analysis for OD and mission design for future missions (IM2, IM3, etc.)- Prepare for operations in the backroom TRAJ/OD role for the IM2 mission.20••••23: Support Nova-C ADCO / GNC team on analysis, code and ops including trajectory and attitude mission design, lunar landing site analysis, synthetic imagery for terrain relative navigation and flight ops for IM lunar lander and hopper missions20••••20: Integrate Nova-C Lunar Lander payloads ensuring payloads are properly integrated into Intuitive Machine\'s lunar lander.
