Take the Business Unit (BU) strategy at the product level and lead cross functional teams to implement efficient supply chain methods • Launching production of new products at optimum costs with the right supply chain • Make recommendations for the use of Contract Manufacturers v’s In-House Manufacturing for the supply of finished products and contribute to the overall supply chain strategy. • Lead the development and execution of BU procurement strategy • Drive early supplier and category team involvement with all new designs from the concept stage onwards • Responsible for product Bill of Material (BOM) costs from concept to final production launch • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cost reduction opportunities on existing and new products • Lead procurement extended teams (global category teams, site procurement, Element Management System (EMS) procurement) to negotiate and deliver the best product costs • Lead product RFP process and align cross-functional teams on supplier selection. • Own product level contracting and drive for optimal terms and conditions • Participate in corporate negotiations for global vendor base (both in region and multi-national)
