   Following my passion for behavioral health and a deep interest in nontraditional but evidence-based approaches to brain health, I took a position with the esketamine team at J&J. My primary mission is to identify, establish, and support REMS-certified treatment centers. I relocated to central Pennsylvania for the position in part because the territory includes a large Medicaid population, huge rural areas with limited access to psychiatric care, several FQHC\'s and RHC\'s, and three different Medicaid Behavioral Health Organizations (BHO\'s).I quarterback a team that is working to expand patient access to this important medicine by helping the treatment centers achieve operational excellence while maintaining regulatory compliance. My team also helps these treatment centers understand payer dynamics (including pharmacy acquisition and buy and bill), and we engage the referral community to drive clinical adoption and ensure the product is recognized across the continuum of care.
