i) Dreadnought Switchboards - Design (September 2024 - Present)• Working in a multidisciplinary team on a critical project to design the structure of Switchboards for installation in the Dreadnought Submarines, provided by RR to BAE Systems. Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of industry standards to support the project’s strategic objectives.• Utilised Teamcenter and Siemens NX to create and modify various components and assemblies.• Supported design reviews to ensure design intent and compliance with project requirements.• Produced Model-Based Definitions (MBD) aligning with RR standards.• Developed an automation tool using NXOpen to streamline MBD creation in Siemens NX, and in Excel to automate large data processing tasks, including BOM creation.• Supported many documentation tasks such as concessions, product specification and product manufacturing information.ii) Tyne Data Transfer Project - Technical Documentation (March 2024 - September 2024)• Contributing to a pivotal project aimed at transferring Tyne engine data between two industry-leading engine manufacturers, which includes detailed documentation of part drawings, modification and standardization files, and test reports, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality outputs.• Actively participating in weekly reviews and retrospectives meetings - employing agile methodologies, suggesting process improvements in workflow and communication based on feedback and ultimately leading to enhanced client satisfaction.• Developed and deployed automation tools using VBA in Excel to eliminate repetitive tasks, reducing errors and increasing processing capacity, which boosted the value of data exchanged.
