Shelly grew up in a rural farming community with blue collar roots, and part of her passion for the industry is fueled by helping those hard-working people to chart a course for the retirement they want. The misconception is that only the “rich” have financial advisors, and financial advisors only work with people that have lots of money. Shelly believes financial planning is for all types of people with different backgrounds, income levels, and goals.Another part of her passion is working with business owners to help them prepare for their future, and to give their employees tools that can help them also be financially successful. Financial wellness in the workplace has benefits that multiply into other areas of people’s lives. It’s important to feel confident about money and to have a strategy to make it work for you.Shelly attended Marquette University and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Shortly after that she moved to Muskego where she lives with husband and two children. They are active in their community where they have lived for 20+ years. They have spent lots of time together at youth, high school, and college sporting events. They also like to get on the boat together and take turns water skiing, or lounging on summer days. Supporting her community is important. Shelly has logged countless hours volunteering at her church and kids’ schools, has been a youth coach, and president of the high school football booster club. She was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the Muskego Chamber of Commerce and is eager to roll up her sleeves to help the community that she loves.
