Overseeing a division with $7B in net revenue, my tenure has been marked by advancing financial performance and forecasting, ensuring the growth of an integrated delivery network that serves a significant population, historically in California and now in The Midwest and Southern states of CommonSpirit Health.With a focus on quality, access, and equity, my efforts have contributed to optimizing the operations of 42 acute care, specialty and critical access hospitals and an extensive ambulatory care network in 6 states.

   CommonSpirit Health’s South Region spans seven markets, in Arkansas, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee/North Georgia and Texas. With 42 acute-care,specialty and critical access hospitals, the region offers a full spectrum of care, including Level 1 Trauma centers, NCI-designated cancer care, transplant services, and comprehensive stroke care. The region’s extensive ambulatory network includes Ambulatory Surgery Centers, imaging centers, urgent care sites, and cancer centers, supported by more than staff and employees, 1,500+ employed providers across more than 350locations, and a comprehensive network of roughly aligned providers. The South Region also is a hub for medical education, with over 2,900 residents, fellows, and medical students in UME/GME programs affiliated with prestigious institutions like Baylor College of Medicine, Morehouse School of Medicine, University of Kentucky, and West Virginia School of Nursing, and boasts strong alliances with nursing and allied health programs.
