I\'ve always been drawn to resolving complex problems. My career path has followed that, from understanding the fundamentals of investment portfolios, to driving overall strategy for pensions, endowments and foundations, and now impacting business for a growing organization. My adventures have provided tremendous learning experiences across and within the complex investment landscape, and business management rites of passage including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.I enjoy providing my leadership skills within my company and with my clients. Internally I impact by building strong business cases and effectively communicating – rather, championing – the firm’s vision and goals. Externally I help sophisticated institutional investors filter market noise and make effective strategic and tactical investment decisions, appropriate for their risk appetite and tolerance. In both, my ability to build relationships, collaborate, and establish trust, are the foundation for my success.I wear many hats today; as President I lead and mentor staff to accomplish business goals. As chair of Verus\' Alternatives Investment Committee, I guide investment staff on process and research priorities.
