About Shelly Heald Han

I\'m a senior human rights advocate who has worked in the private sector, government, and the non-profit sector in the U.S. and internationally. I\'m a big-picture thinker who likes to dive into issues, find solutions, and then creatively implement them. If there is a common thread running through my career (there is a theme-even if there isn\'t a logical progression), it\'s that I\'m working at the intersection of foreign affairs, business, and human rights. Where I thrive: business and human rights, labor rights, big picture, bridging communities, international relations, government relations, public policy, public affairs.    As a senior executive at FLA, my job is to help our organization function efficiently so we can meet our mission. I manage our government and stakeholder advocacy work, oversee our strategic communications and events, manage implementation of our five year strategic plan, and take on special projects that don\'t neatly fall into a job description. I\'m a connector-always looking for ways that we can leverage our insights and resources to create better outcomes for workers in global supply chains.
