I’ve built my career in the operations and strategy realm of technology start-ups, with 15 years of diverse experience at high-growth companies like Groupon and Uber. My expertise lies in marketplace technology - scaling businesses quickly and navigating the nuances of a two-sided customer base. Over the years, I’ve focused on the unique challenges of early-stage building, from organizational design and team leadership to strategic execution.At the core of my work is a consistent “why” - I’m passionate about supporting local businesses, entrepreneurs, and communities, and finding ways for technology to make their lives easier. While start-ups naturally require wearing many hats, my strengths and passions lie in working directly with clients and stakeholders, building and managing teams, and taking ideas from concept to on-the-ground execution.Every new opportunity I pursue is driven by a desire to stretch my skill set and explore new facets of the industry, while also encouraging others to step outside of their comfort zones. Beyond my professional career, I bring the same community-focused mindset to my personal endeavors - such as serving on the Executive Committee of the Lincoln Park Zoo Auxiliary Board to keep the zoo free and accessible.Most recently, I embraced entrepreneurship in a new way as the founder of the first and only Indian BBQ sauce brand - combining my love for food, community, and innovation into a venture that brings bold, culturally-inspired flavors to the American BBQ experience.
