I am a Managing Director within WTW\'s specialist bulk annuity and longevity hedging team.Since 2009 I have specialised in advising trustees and sponsors on their de-risking strategy and transactions. I combine strategic vision and a focus on achieving the best value for money with practical experience of buy-ins, buyouts and longevity hedges.I have led a number of prominent de-risking transactions including- A £1.1bn full scheme buy-in for the Maersk Retirement Benefit Scheme in 2020- A £1.6bn novation of a longevity swap to a buy-in for the MNOPF in 2020- A £3.3bn pensioner buy-in for the IBM Pension Plan in 2020- A £400m pensioner buy-in project for Reckitt Benckiser in 2020- HSBC\'s two longevity swaps covering £11bn of liabilities in 2019; and- Three longevity swaps for AXA, including the market\'s first deferred member longevity swap in 2021.
