ABOUT SHELLY ANNE MCPHERSON

I have a BA (Honours) degree in Business Management and I am also CIPD qualified and have up to date knowledge of employment legislation.I am a confident and friendly person who loves meeting and talking to people. I have a lively personality and I have a background in retail and customer service. I have the ability to work in a fast moving HR environment. I completed a year-long internship where I learned to support, coach and challenge line management with absence, disciplinary and grievance issues and identify development opportunities to improve soft skills and build future talent. I also learned to build positive and effective relationships with unions and agency suppliers.I am a self-motivated individual and my skills include being fully computer literate and numerate, telesales, being an excellent communicator and possessing excellent customer service skills, possessing good leadership skills, being highly organised, the ability to problem solve, being able to prioritise my workload, being flexible and able to work under pressure, being a key holder, supervising staff, teamwork, conducting appraisals, recruiting/selecting staff, inducting staff, training and developing, administrative skills and maintaining employee records. I have experience of advising and coaching management at all levels and I have a proactive approach to my own continuous development. I have experience of implementing processes and the ability to act on my own initiative.
