About Shelli Weiss

As an experienced Project Manager with 27 years in the offshore drilling industry I work closely with the project team, rig operations personnel, management and other stakeholders to complete major upgrade & repair and capital improvement projects successfully. I thrive on being able to participate in projects from start to finish. I am results oriented and my experience in project management, engineering/rig design, negotiations and people management are effective in delivering projects safely withing the planned schedule and budget. It is my philosophy that in order to have a successful project the planning needs to be detailed, complete and accurate. I have a proven track record in being able to create work packages that allow for a well executed project as they allow for contractors to be able to prepare bid packages, and act as a blue print for the work that is to be completed as part of the project.I use my experience and intuitiveness to review planned work scopes and have been effective in reducing overall project costs by identifying work scopes that can be deferred or omitted completely. My previous experience in rig design has proven to be beneficial in allowing me to be able to review drawings for accuracy and compliance with industry standards. I find that I can work effectively with all project related personnel from vendors and regulatory surveyors to upper management.
