ABOUT SHELLISE GOULBOURNE
As a Literacy Consultant, I have the privilege of traveling across the country to work alongside literacy teachers and leaders, helping them strengthen their practice and build confidence in research-based literacy instruction. I’m deeply passionate about literacy advocacy efforts, especially in underresourced communities.That same passion drives my doctoral research at Florida State University, where I’m a candidate in Educational Leadership and Policy. My work focuses on how teachers’ self-efficacy shapes literacy instruction in Title I schools. At its core, this research amplifies the voices of teachers and aims to ensure that educators feel supported and equipped to help students succeed.Outside of education, I founded One Eleven Haus Realty Investments LLC, a real estate investing business in Florida. I bring the same dedication and strategic mindset to this venture, focusing on long-term growth and contributing to community revitalization.At the intersection of literacy leadership, equity, and entrepreneurship, my goal is to empower others to thrive.
