About Shelley Kester
I am the CEO/Founder and Managing Attorney of Wilson Kester the Empowered Divorce Source. We are a Statewide firm in Michigan, practicing exclusively family law. It was my honor to serve as Chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan in 20••••23 and on the State Court Administrator’s Advisory Committee updating the Michigan’s Parenting Time Guidelines, an invaluable tool for Michigan families. I enjoy Board Service for organizations that help children and improve the law. I currently serve on the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan Board and previously served on the Collaborative Practice Institute, the Great Lakes Children’s Museum, and as founding Chair of the Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center. I am a frequent presentor for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and thrive trying to effect positive change. I was honored to receive the Amelia Schaub Pioneer award for my work as a family law attorney and to be recognized as an influential woman in northern Michigan by the Traverse City Record Eagle and among leading women in business by TC Business News.
