Shelley Bartram is a senior business developer with Great American’s Environmental Division. As one of the few carriers dedicated to serving the environmental space for nearly 17 consecutive years, Great American Environmental offers exclusive environmental insurance solutions to a wide variety of commercial customers, successfully enabling businesses to manage their financial risks.In her current role, Shelley composes and presents relevant business reports, collaborates with underwriting team members to create personalized marketing and branding plans, and actively seeks out opportunities to develop new business opportunities for the underwriting team. She coordinates both internal and external events that provide opportunities for advancement, recognition, and education within the insurance industry. With prior experience in sales and supply chain, Shelley brings a unique skill set to the business development team and is based out of the Cincinnati, OH headquarters.Prior to joining Great American, Shelley worked at C.H. Robinson as an account manager, where she analyzed customers\' supply chains for trends, modal optimization opportunities, and areas for overall supply chain improvement. By building relationships with customers and working with internal teams, she created customized transportation solutions based on customer needs. As an on-site account manager, she collaborated with customer sales, purchasing, and order management teams to create standard operating procedures (SOPs) allowing for seamless supply chain flow. Shelley started off her career with a recruiting internship at endevis, which involved extensive research and qualification of candidates for employment through phone screenings, cold calling techniques, and online search engines. Shelley gained her first insights into the business world as a sales associate at New York & Company, where she delivered exceptional customer service and utilized upselling techniques to increase unit per transaction counts and overall revenue. For some time, she served as the assistant store manager, where she was responsible for daily store deposits, monitoring revenue to reach corporate sales goals, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Shelley earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University with a specialization in marketing. While obtaining her degree, Shelley held numerous leadership roles in her sorority, Alpha Phi.
