About Shellee Howley
My greatest passion is helping others. I take the opportunity to do this everyday in my personal and professional life. The best part of my 30+ years on the FedEx Custom Critical team is how my creative thinking has played a key role in important shipping solutions. Whether it\'s moving endangered Loggerhead turtle eggs after the Gulf oil spill or leading the operations team during a natural disaster response, at the end of the day you know you\'ve made a difference. My extensive knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry has helped me to tactically position equipment, lead a business continuity project, launch new products, provide consulting for logistics planning to federal, state and local agencies, manage major accounts from inception to national account status, lead emergency response teams to effectively execute important life saving shipments. I\'ve experienced firsthand how our different departments work in lockstep to deliver the FedEx Purple Promise. I love change. This has served me well as I\'ve moved throughout the FedEx organization delivering results. In my off time, I enjoy spending time on Catawba Island boating and fishing on Lake Erie with my kids, grandkids and friends, I\'m devoted to and advocate for my gram (we have 5 generations!) in her Alzheimer\'s battle. I serve as a parent-to-parent grief support advocate helping others through life altering traumatic events.
