ABOUT SHELDON LEWIS

My story: At 18, spent a year building 2 infrastructure projects from scratch at Interac that are now generating millions in revenue. At 19, left to travel the world. I worked 3 months remote across 10 European countries, then 3 months backpacking South America—working as a bartender, host, and at a daycare across the rainforest, desert, and mountains, then joined the military. At 20, came back home, built 3 companies primarily in financial services and AI for private capital—scaled from nothing to seed and acquisition, and led ~25 total employees. I was selected as one of Canada\'s top 36 entrepreneurs under 25 for 2025. This year, I went back to school, helped win Mercor the race to successfully achieve AI performance prediction in hiring, did some quantum computing research, and I’m now building at Amazon, helping improve OpenAI’s Deep Research models on the side. I plan on spending my life learning how to solve the problems caused by the worldwide wealth disparity, and the power dynamics that feed it. So far, that\'s led me to build something of my own, Veena—a platform to remove the barrier of access to technological progress and AI, and democratize progress for all.
