Leads all phases of finance M&A including early assessments, diligence, Day 1-100 integration planning and execution. Responsible for transition services agreement governance and compliance for divested businesses. Partners with sponsoring deal BU and cross-functional teams (including tax, legal, IT, HR, Go-to-Market teams) to develop milestone plans, identify dependencies, anticipate and mitigate risk and course-correct tactics, as needed. Responsible for reporting to Corporate Development and Integration Management Office on operational integration status, risk and dependency issues and deal performance metrics. Advises Corporate Development and Integration Management Office on finance metrics, and other terms and conditions for inclusion in Letters of Intent and Definite Agreements. Works with legal on finance sections in M&A contracts. Developed and deployed global finance M&A Playbook, including M&A framework, working practices, tools and templates. Implemented an electronic collaboration, content management and tracking tool on SharePoint to enhance efficiency of Symantec’s M&A process. Prepares M&A communications and serves as change agent and change champion for acquired company.
