ABOUT SHELBY SNYDER-KALCHIK

I am a San Diego State University graduate with a Bachelor\'s Degree in Communications. I have experience in Marketing/Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Volunteer Coordinating, Customer Service and most importantly Event Planning. I am a very ambitious person and will do whatever it takes to achieve my goals and support my team to do the same. I firmly believe to be a great leader, you need to be a team player. I pride myself in actively supporting all roles within an organization, so I have a firm understanding of what their day to day life looks like. I have a large portfolio of leadership experience throughout my college years and career that has provided me with a wealth of insight and growth to enhance my leadership skills. I preach open communication, as I think it creates a more productive and positive workplace. I am a people person to my core. I love meeting new people and thrive in environments where I can engage with customers, clients and the general public! I like to instill these core values in my team: communication, growth, ownership, and teamwork. Communicate with your team, manage up, and absorb personal/professional feedback.
