ABOUT SHELBY ZITELMAN
I have a varied 18-year career in start-up (Soom Foods) and non-profit (PresenTense) management, and am grateful to now be working with my Dad at Zitelman Partners, the Company he started the year I was born.I have experience with business development, deal due diligence, financial forecasting, fundraising, investor relations, strategic planning, budgeting, bookkeeping, administrative and operational processes development, team management, marketing and communications. I believe one of my best strengths is making connections - between people, ideas and resources. I am a proud graduate of the Wharton School class of 2007 and the Goldman Sachs Small Business Program, and honored to have been named to the Philadelphia Business Journal\'s 40 Under 40 class of 2019.I am passionate about serving my community and have been involved with various non profits and institutions over the years, as a board member, advisor, volunteer and donor. At a high level I spend a lot of time thinking about and working on family philanthropy and how to engage others in that effort. Speaking of family, last but certainly not least, I am humbled to be married to my husband Dan and proud of the three boys we are raising together. Being a wife and a mother is the most important and rewarding job of all.
