My current role as Director of Solutions Design in SweetRush\'s Transforming Leaders & Culture business unity is the culmination of almost 15 years of learning and growth at this wonderful organization. Our clients and my colleagues are some of the most fantastic people I have known, and I feel overwhelmingly grateful that I get to collaborate with them all week long to strive for a better world through business. I believe that the human spirit can prevail in business, and that achieving this goal creates ripple effects of goodness that not only affect our clients\' bottom lines (Being a great place to work is *great* for business!), but also their people, their families, and everyone that interacts with them in the world. My lived experience of working at SweetRush, a company known for our thriving culture with values of Care and Commitment that are felt consistently throughout the organization, supports this belief. Our leaders embody these values and show up with authenticity and love - in all its gentleness AND ferocity. The psychological safety that this fosters allows SweetRushians to bring their full selves to work. to be willing to innovate and take risks, knowing they are supported AND will also be giving necessary, timely feedback when appropriate. to assume goodwill, even when others are behaving in ways that are challenging to us or which we don\'t understand in the moment. to collaborate easily and often to create out-of-the-box solutions to organizational challenges. I believe that we all have everything we need to achieve our goals within us. The Work is to remove obstacles and barriers to becoming our best selves. The same can be said about organizations - they are made up of people, and have their very own personalities, strengths, and opportunities for growth.
