Responsibilities-Design primarily B2B marketing materials that include large-scale signage, invitations, product sheets, banner ads, emails, landing pages, white papers, social media graphics and more-Support communications for internal audiences. This could include presentations, emails, infographics and more-Apply creativity to marketing projects from concept to completion that reflect Markel’s brand-Strategize with creative team to help influence marketing and customer experience-Manage projects and keep stakeholders apprised of multiple, ongoing project statuses. Ensure that tasks and projects are completed accurately and on time-Demonstrate knowledge of advertising and marketing to bring creative strategies and executions to life effectively-Contribute to the design process through participation in brainstorms, documentation of best practices and identifying creative resources. Add input to the overall “look and feel” of marketing materials by seeking inspiration through research of design and industry trends-Influence business partners with an inspiring style that continues to elevate the brand in fresh ways-Manage print pieces from initial concept to final production. Includes defining printing specifications, getting price quotes, and working with vendors to ensure quality control and timelines-Recommend changes to content, imagery, and page design to improve customer experience-Serve as a subject matter expert for latest design trends and tools-Identify emerging design and technology that may be beneficial to Markel and recommend specific use cases-Social media: manage content calendars and post regularly to a variety of social media networks-Continuously improve and update corporate websites and other digital properties-Website analytics and reporting.
