ABOUT SHEKHAR GUHA

Shekhar Guha is currently Director for Partner Incubation & Acceleration for TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) focussing on Analytics, Automation & AI solutions. In this role Mr. Guha is responsible for identifying, evaluating key technology players in the market whose products and solutions inject enhanced value to TCS\'s offerings, and incubating them as partners with TCS. This responsibility also includes Acceleration which involves wideing the value addition of existing partners across TCS business units, and cross-pollinating parntner value addition across CoEs in the organization. Prior to this responsibility, Mr Guha headed the TCS Product Management Practice. In this role Mr. Guha has been responsible for setting up synergized approach to Product Management in the organization in terms of product vision, roadmap, strategy, synergized functions, templatized but customizable practices, governance, etc. In a previous role Mr. Guha was Head for IP (Intellectual Property) Services in TCS. Mr Guha was also IP Catalyst for Research & Innovation (R&I) group of TCS. In these roles he has been responsible for integrating various IP services in the organization and providing IP Management consulting across the organization by directly provisioning high quality IP functions like IP Landscaping, IP Search, Invention Mining & Maturing, and IP Risk Management. Mr. Guha continues to be part of the IP policy making think tank for TCS and has contributed to IP policy advocacy in the global IP arena. Mr. Guha has been a prolific speaker at many prestigious global conventions and has authored multiple publications on various aspects of IP Management. He has been instrumental in exercising IP thought leadership across the organization and in the global ecosystem. Prior to IP related roles above, Mr. Guha was P&L owner for large accounts, customers and geographies that included delivery and sales ownership handling substantial revenue figures, and large & complex multicultural, multinational teams. Mr Guha has been instrumental in enabling customers\' business by conceptualizing, desigining, developing and implementing smart software solutions to customers across the globe. Mr. Guha also has expertise in data management and business intelligence, and even now dabbles in desigining & developing code for tools that enable smart solutions. Mr Guha has several granted patents to his credit, and several others filed, awaiting grant. Mr. Guha has a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Electronics as well as in Mathematics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
