ABOUT SHEKHAR AWASTHI

I am a political strategist with hands-on experience in field operations, opinion surveys, cadre management, and stakeholder coordination across diverse regions of India. Currently working as a Senior Associate at Showtime Consulting, I have led campaign implementation and organizational work in Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Mumbai, and Vidarbha, focusing on stakeholder engagement, ground-level execution, and team coordination. Previously, I worked at Rudra Research & Analysis as a Manager, overseeing a 30-member executive team and managing opinion surveys across key Maharashtra assemblies. Earlier, as a Zonal Manager at the Indian Youth Congress (IYC), I led political campaigns across constituencies, coordinated field efforts, and empowered youth participation in democratic processes. My journey also includes working with political teams like the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and contributing to the finalization of assembly-level reports, survey insights, and field-level data strategies. With a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University and currently pursuing my Master’s from IGNOU, I aim to deepen my political insight and contribute meaningfully to India’s democratic development.
