ABOUT SHEILA SARVER

GLOBAL ENGINEERING EXECUTIVEI have over 20 years of experience as a Global Engineering Executive at GM where I championed multi-million dollar global initiatives that drove productivity improvements, profit enhancements, and customer satisfaction.Recognized as a transformational leader, I am particularly strong in creating short and long-term strategies that lead to accelerated business growth and enhanced profitability, while developing high performance cultures. I leverage my MBA, BSEE, and PMP to implement best practices and optimize technical operations that ensure scalability and profitability. For example, in my last GM position as Global Director – Interior Engineering, I attained the highest quality scores in GM’s history as measured by the JD Powers IQS survey. I also increased key program performance metrics from 81% to 92%.As Executive Director – Global Validation I managed a global team of five executives and 700 team members across four regions and delivered a 500% increase in technical validation expertise and capability. Prior to that, as Vice President of Engineering, I ensured the continuity of business throughout GM’s bankruptcy by establishing GM Technical Centre-India as separate legal entity. Here I established the first multi-shift R&D, engineering center, and digital design studio, positioning GMTC-I as leading provider of engineering, design, and manufacturing services. Recognized with GM India President’s Award and AP President’s Award for reducing costs while increasing quality scores.I created a responsive market-driven engineering organization that contributed to the successful launch of five GM India vehicle programs, effectively doubling market share in India. I have a deep appreciation for regional and cultural differences during international assignments in India and while building and leading diverse global teams located in Asia, Europe, Australia, Latin America, and North America. Available for worldwide relocation.
