I am an experienced, reliable and confident leader. My background to date has been centered on becoming the Head of a Global Enterprise Resiliency Program. My career path is completely dedicated to Business Continuity Management (which includes disaster recovery and crisis management) and this is evident in the longevity and success of my career to date. I am one of the 3% of certified professionals that have earned the prestigious Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) certification through the Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII). I also have a BS degree in Management and Information Systems that has afforded me the opportunity to work with IT professionals to ensure resiliency of critical infrastructure and business functions impacted by crisis events. I love the challenge Business Continuity Management has to offer and am extremely passionate about creating and improving efforts to address and ensure resiliency.Below are a few of my accomplishments:• Developed and implemented Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Programs for Private and Public Organizations• Developed and implemented Global Policies, Standards & Governance Frameworks• Created criticality rating of applications based on the results of the Application Impact & Business Impact Assessments• Conducted IT Risk Assessments & Audits (Internal and External/Regulatory). Identified, documented, and remediated gaps and risks and created recovery strategies to increase resiliency• Worked cross-functionally with Business Units and IT Teams to determine and verify recovery objectives• Created a Resiliency model to measure the maturity level of the BC/DR program as well as the applications and infrastructure that resulted in an increased organizational compliance and awareness for resiliency• Presented the Program and shared best practices and templates to external customers at the Executive Briefing Center• Coordinated and Facilitated 40+ disaster recovery tests live in Production• Advanced DR testing from Application only to the entire application stack • Increase application participation in quarterly testing from 7-10 to 250+ per event and conducted 200+ Tabletop Exercises• Created and presented Program status to Executives
