About Sheila McCaffrey

I love what I do! I am a business-focused leadership, career and transformational-life coach with a passion for supporting individuals and teams to maximize their performance and potential. I began my career as a CPA, which provided a grounding in business fundamentals, including financial, process and analysis skills. I continue to leverage this early-in-career experience with my coaching clients via purposeful, goal-oriented conversations… and structured and detailed follow-up. At Pitney Bowes I was provided with opportunities to hone my “people skills” in a variety of roles, many of which were newly created, including the Chief of Staff to the Head of HR, Director Emerging Leader Programs and Director of Strategic Talent Management. Thru these experiences, I developed a reputation as a creative and strategic business partner, with a compassionate and grounded presence and high level of integrity, energy, and passion. After a successful corporate career, I attended Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching Program, and went on to create Turas Coaching to focus full-time on coaching individuals and teams. Turas is the Irish word for “journey”, representing the personal and professional development journey that has brought me to this place, and the journey of discovery, learning and growth that I travel with my coaching clients. A lifelong learner with a passion for “all things wellbeing”, I also pursued coaching certificates in Transformational Life Coaching and Functional Medicine Health Coaching as a means of providing “whole person support” to my clients. I have developed a reputation as a well-read and resourced coach that provides a safe space for clients to explore possibilities and challenges, and the beliefs, habits, emotions, barriers and sources of support that accompany them. Clients enter coaching relationships with the belief that change is possible. As their coach, I have the incredible privilege of accompanying them on their change journey.
