At Fluor, I am currently the Construction Visualization Lead and SME for several different Canadian construction projects. My role supports all kinds of construction efforts from early works and undergrounds to turnover and commissioning. Construction projects consume and generate incredible quantities of data and most people find it easier and more efficient to consume that information in a visual way. My role is to utilize existing tools and systems to their maximum potential, and also to investigate and implement new technologies that provide measurable ROI to projects as a whole.In this role I\'m also fortunate to co-lead a fantastic team of construction automation specialists whose work pushes Fluor towards a truly integrated, data-centric ecosystem of tools for construction execution. This integration has collectively saved Fluor millions of dollars as well as several thousand effort hours, and is a great example of how technology can be used to great benefit. In addition, my experience in organizational change management and strategic planning helps our team to experience high rates of adoption of our innovations with little to no resistance.
