As a dispute lawyer, my skills are in managing and solving commercial disputes using a range of options to achieve the best results, including negotiation, litigation, arbitration and mediation. I work with my clients to identify their objectives in any contentious situation, and am known for my practical, commercial advice. Having been a dispute lawyer for over 30 years, I have experience in handling cases in most forms of court or tribunal, together with a wide understanding of the issues which can arise in difficult situations. I seek to bring that experience and knowledge to the work I do. I believe that clients want a lawyer who is prepared to express an opinion and stand by it, not one who sits on the fence, and I work according to that principle.
