About Sheila Patel

I am a Board-certified family physician with a passion for shifting the paradigm in health care from one of disease management to one of creating health and wellbeing with the ultimate purpose of maximizing human potential. I currently practice integrative medicine using the principles of Ayurveda, meditation, and yoga, as well as maintain an outpatient family medicine practice. I believe in a preventive, predictive, personalized, and participatory approach to healing that has the potential to improve not only the health of the individual, but the health of society. As former Chief Medical Officer for Chopra Global, I was excited to work with an amazing team of individuals to make wellbeing an accessible reality for all, and I continue to teach with Chopra Certifications through Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I\'m always happy to connect with people interested in a mind, body, spirit approach to healing.
