Designs and executes studies involving intracranial surgeries (AAV/ASO delivery) and systemic dosing regimens to establish PK/PD relationships and demonstrate robust efficacy in vivo Parkinson’s disease and Down syndrome models.• Elucidates therapeutic mechanism of action by developing a multi-plex biomarker panel using spatial transcriptomics (CosMx and RNAscope), and immunofluorescence to visualize target engagement and neuronal survival in parallel using confocal microscopy and AI-assisted analysis (FIJI, MATLAB, and QuPath).• Integrates multi-modal analysis of human dementia tissue (transcriptomics, proteomics) to identify and prioritize novel therapeutic targets and companion biomarkers, thereby de-risking the translational pipeline.• Manages a strategic alliance with The Michael J. Fox Foundation\'s ASAP consortium and international partners to align R&D objectives, de-risk the preclinical pipeline, and accelerate the translational path for neurodegenerative therapeutics.
