I’m Sheila — a first-generation Latina with a background that bridges product, UX research, and systems thinking. My work lives at the intersection of technology, design, and human behavior — and I’m passionate about building products that make people feel empowered, not overwhelmed.I’ve worked on secure authentication and onboarding flows for 10M+ clients at Morgan Stanley, where I operated as a technical product owner — collaborating with engineering, UX, and cybersecurity to launch features like Single Sign-On and Secure Key. I’ve also led UX research for a digital image archive at one of the world’s top art institutions, using methods like usability testing and interviews to improve how researchers find and connect with information.I recently completed a dual master’s in global markets and social history in Europe, where I deepened my research practice and explored how technology shapes access — from finance to culture. Now, I’m looking to bring that interdisciplinary lens into a Product Management role, ideally on a team that values inclusive design, curiosity, and impact.Outside of work, I’m passionate about preservation, archival, have hosted community radio shows, enjoy storytelling through film, and traveled to over 25 countries.
