When I first joined DiscoverLink, the company was in early growth mode, and finance needed structure. Over time, I helped build out our reporting, forecasting, and cash flow practices so leaders could see where we stood and where we were headed. That foundational work paid off years later when we were acquired by Crunchtime. I led the financial due diligence from our side and stayed on through the acquisition to guide the integration and scale our billing infrastructure for a larger, multi-entity organization.What followed was a deep rebuild of the finance systems behind the scenes. I worked through every piece of the transition, reconciling legacy data, coordinating with product and operations, and closing financial gaps between entities. Every decision was about making sure billing, reporting, and compliance could scale without slowing the business down.As new acquisitions came into play, I created policy frameworks and billing logic that worked across multiple contract types and customer groups. We moved from reactive reconciliation to proactive oversight, reducing manual rework and supporting faster cycle times across teams.Inside the department, I focused on team design. I built clear roles, established cross-training routines, and elevated team leads into managers. That structure allowed us to handle more complexity without sacrificing accuracy or speed, earning the confidence of both executives and external partners.
