Here\'s the thing about engineering, you either see a new problem and find a solution for it, see an old problem and find a better optimized solution for it, or you can come up with a random funky idea that looks like some sort of a game at first, and then find an application for it in medical, social, agricultural, sustainable etc fields. All of a sudden that simple idea can change your life and the life of other humans. And that is why engineering is amazing and why I want to pursue space engineering.
